Kallisti, born Raervan Chickfaer, later Lengar Chickfaer, and later still Urd Chickfaer of the Caller and the Drinker, and in Dwarven Fallgal, is an odd gnome, aside from his love of collecting names. Sent at a later age than his later foe Gorvald Mord, he at least had some time to learn some life lessons from his revolutionary parents. Rather than forget all of that while enrolled in The Open Palm Monastery, he held onto it, growing bitter at what he felt was uncalled for discipline and rigidity. However, he took to the combat portions of the lessons well, and even developed a taste for the spirituality, though he felt it was directed towards the entirely wrong areas. He worked hard, and played fully into the concept of bettering yourself and detachment from mortal affairs, just with a decidedly more rules-free bent. He felt that disallowing something based on arbitrary rules, and allowing things based on those same rules to lead fully into system abusing loopholes that really hurt everyone. However, he did work hard, any punishment was from rulebreaking alone, not lack of effort, and he rose the ranks to eventually, as a teenager, join Gorvald’s class, which is where the two ultimately began their disputes. The year Gorvald left the monastery, Kallisti began his plan in full. He had made a habit of sneaking into places where he was not wanted, and began to steal minor things from Sensei’s office. He was clever enough about it to where no one caught on until it was far to late, but he learned forbidden martial arts from ancient manuals the monastery had safeguarded. Establishing a divine connection to the forces of Chaos themselves, and blending his monk training with a new ability to use armor, he had reached a new level of power. Covertly gathering allies, he established an army, all under the nose of Sensei and his compatriots. When he had enough, he struck out. It was a bloody night, the Anarchists attempting to convert as many loyalists as they could, and killing those who resisted. Only a few loyalists made it out alive, being thrown into a dungeon in a brief moment of compassion for the people Kallisti had grown up with. He has now made amends with Gorvald, the current leader of both the Open-Palm Loyaalists and the PWA, and is siding with their revolution in hopes that they will move with him onto his ultimate goal of global anarchy.
